The Managing Directors of WCM GmbH were influential in the conception and development of SAP's Work Clearance Management component from the very beginning.
Christoph Wobbe started his SAP career in the 1980s. After several years' experience in the development of plant maintenance, he switched to product management. Starting in 1996, he assumed responsibility for SAP's Work Clearance Management component, which took him all over the world for a range of implementation projects.
Uwe Kirchner joined SAP in 1995. In 1996, he became an architect for the design and development of SAP's Work Clearance Management component. In addition to his development tasks, Uwe was also involved in customer projects in Europe, America, and Asia.
Michael Lesk joined SAP in 1996. During his eight-year stint in the area of plant maintenance, he was responsible for the design and development of master data, as well as for interfaces in Work Clearance Management (for example, graphic WCM planning). In 2004, he moved to SAP's Application Platform, which forms the basis for SAP's solution for small and midsize companies, Business ByDesign. During this time, Michael was in charge of modeling business objects and standardized processes in the area of CRM Service.
